Following the donation of a diffusion furnace to the university by SEMI (the industry trade body) member company Thermco Systems, based in West Sussex, UK, the Photonics Lab in the university has been transformed into a semiconductor laboratory capable of making simple electronic devices such as capacitors, diodes and transistors.

Responding to an NMI call of support, Thermco donated a R&D development tool complete with the latest AI Technology. It will allow Bristol University students to develop and learn about next generation’s processes and technologies.

Proudly supporting Macmillan to raise money for those living with cancer.  Thermco staff brought in their cakes and bakes to support this great cause: lemon drizzle, cheese scones, baked Blondies and sausage rolls too.  Delicious!
